About “Euskara Jendea”
The Basque-Speaking People: The history of their language, the language of their history (Euskara Jendea) documentary series has been produced by Ibaizabal-Mendebalde and Zenbat Gara cultural associations.
The series consist of six episodes lasting about 45 minutes each. It is aimed at a wide audience, describing the history of the Basque language and its culture. It will be available in several languages including English.
Euskara Jendea has as its starting point the book of the same title, written by Xamar, published in 2006. This production wants to fill the gap in the audiovisual media, taking advantage of the benefits of broadcasting.
